Since the state has made changes for Private Clubs again, we feel it is necessary for the Post to keep you informed.

We have returned to the original Bylaws for Members and their Guests, which means:

MEMBERS MAY BRING THEIR SPOUSE IN. ALSO YOU MAY INVITE A GUEST IN FOR TWO (2) VISITS PRIOR TO JOINING - Lets hope this clarifies any confusion.

If more than one member lives at your address, please include their information as well. We will use this information to remove you from the mailing list.

The Ladies Auxiliary Table Cloth project is complete, thanks again ladies.

The Post needs your help for the Sandusky Veterans Home. There is a donation jug at the bar or mail a check payable to the VFW Post 7201. These Veterans really need our help.

March 17   Saint Patrick's Day – Corned Beef & Cabbage, green beer, and at 8:00pm Karaoke will start
March 22   Men's Auxiliary Steak Night for $7.50 and Ladies Auxiliary Bake Sale
March 27   Band – Parental Guidance

EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2010 – The policy for checks written to the Post will change with no exceptions .

A Member may write one check per day up to $100.00
Non-member checks will not be accepted.
No third party checks will be accepted, unless it is a payroll check.

Charges/Penalties for checks that are returned to the Post from the bank:
1st Offence - $30.00 fee
2nd Offence - $40.00 fee
3rd Offence - $50.00 fee and no check privileges

As many of you know, the Post has an ATM machine available for your convenience.

Almighty and Most Merciful God, as we come to you in this Lenten Season looking toward Good Friday and that Resurrection Day, we know we have not been the faithful servants you have called us to be. Forgive us for our unfaithfulness and instill in us the need to live the kind of lives you called us to live.

We complain about the cold, wind and snow of winter. Yet our thoughts and prayers turn to those in distant places in uncomfortable surroundings who are defending and protecting the freedoms, you, Dear God, have given your people throughout the world. We are experiencing a socio-economic world, which is uncomfortable for us. Of course, we complain and look for someone to blame. Help us to know that in the good times and in the bad times, you are there to see us through. We pray our lives will be resurrected anew as we place our hope and trust in you and make the necessary changes in our lives to fulfill your will. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

• On Monday, March 22, 2010 the Men's Auxiliary will once again sponsor our World Famous STEAK NITE —which will include a New York Strip, Baked Potato, Salad, and Roll – all for the unbelievable price of $7.50 (carryout for $8.00). Thanks for your continued support and patronage. Dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. – hope to see you on
March 22.

• $100 GAS CARD RAFFLE – but 30 tickets sold for each drawing at $5.00 per ticket. Everyone who plays is automatically entered into a FREE $100 GAS CARD DRAWING after the tenth drawing. Check out the WINNERS board posted in the clubroom – you can't win if you don't play.

• 42-INCH PLASMA TELEVISION RAFFLE – beginning March 1, 2010 we will begin selling chances to win a 42-inch plasma television. Tickets will be sold for $10 – with only 100 tickets to be sold. There will also be CASH prize offerings – which will include five (5) additional drawings for $50. So, your odds of winning are actually 1 in 16 – a tad bit better than the Lottery. Target date for awarding the TV and cash is Saturday, March 27, 2010 – which coincidentally is the same night as the Monthly drawing. Come on out and see who wins!

• Please keep our troops in your thoughts and prayers. Once again, thank you for your continued support – should you have any suggestions for future activities, please let your Men's Auxiliary Officer Team know. Have a splendid St. Paddy's Day – and enjoy the changing seasons. Salud.

Build-a-Burger Night for $6.50
Monday, March 8th from 5:30pm–7:30pm
Meal includes - 1/2lb Hamburger cooked to order, choice of cheese, a buffet of toppings and condiments for you to build your own masterpiece, fries, and dessert.

We would like to thank everyone for your continued support of our fundraising events.

We are having a Bake Sale , March 22 during the Men's Auxiliary Steak Nite. We need ladies to donate baked goods, please drop off your delicious goodies Sunday, March 21 or before 5:00pm Monday, March 22.

It's not too late to pay your 2010 dues. Renewal of membership, $20.00, may be paid at the bar or you may send payment to the Post attention Kate Craycraft. If you would like your membership and key card mailed to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. 2010 key cards for life members are available at the bar.

We need ladies to volunteer a couple hours of their time for fundraising and special events. Please contact Lori Seckel 225-1992 or Kate Craycraft 225-3215 to volunteer.
